We have a guy travel Discord who fly’s for business I’ve never seen him get an on time departure.

I feel like Qantas, AirNZ or the Pacifica Airlines have way better stats than Untied the punchline of the airline industry.

In reply to Eric. The runway at Rogers Dry Lake bed in California is far longer at almost 40,000 ft. but may not be included because of its location on a dry lake bed.

Earth’s circumference at equator is 40,075, and polar circumference is 40,008 given the earth bulges due to its rotation.

So how does Guinness accept this as a world record when the distance falls short by 3,300 km, nearly 4-5 hours at cruising speed.

Sam, despite the initial reports of the cause, I see no evidence that the APU was in anyway involved. Not the best angles but there’s no fire or smoke at the supposed source.

I’d say more likely someone tossed a cig in the restroom trash or an electrical fire in the overhead.
